Hospice of Acadiana is the region’s only nonprofit hospice provider and the longest-serving hospice in Louisiana. Since 1983, they have provided compassionate end-of-life care to thousands of patients and families across Acadiana, focusing on dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Their services include in-home and inpatient hospice care at Calcutta House, palliative medicine, grief counseling, and a variety of support programs for patients, families, and the community. Supported by a team of medical professionals, volunteers, and community donors, Hospice of Acadiana ensures that no one faces serious illness or loss alone, regardless of their ability to pay.
