We are excited to invite you to a valuable SKYWARN training class, hosted by Acadia Parish in partnership with the National Weather Service. This informative session is a great opportunity for community members to learn how to identify and report severe weather conditions, which is crucial in helping to protect our community.

The class will be led by NWS Meteorologist Doug Cramer, who will guide participants through essential information on severe weather patterns, including thunderstorms, tornadoes, and other extreme weather events. You'll also gain hands-on experience in spotting and reporting severe weather to the National Weather Service.
