Description

LSU Eunice will host a community tailgate on Saturday, March 22 with both baseball and softball teams playing doubleheaders at home that afternoon. The tailgate will begin at 12:00PM in the Community Education Building Parking Lot, between baseball's Bengal Stadium and softball's Lady Bengal Field. The tailgate will feature a food truck round up, photo opportunities with LSUE Mascot Benny the Bengal, and more. The tailgate will coincide with home games for both nationally ranked LSUE Baseball and Softball teams. LSUE Softball will host Blinn College for a doubleheader beginning at 12:00PM, while the Bengal Baseball team welcomes Baton Rouge Community College to town for a 2:00PM doubleheader. Admission to get into all games during the Community Tailgate is $5.00 for adults and all students and/or children under 18 receive free admission. You can purchase your admission with cash only at the front gate of either game. Please be advised that due to ongoing construction at Bengal Stadium, there is limited seating for baseball games. All games will be livestreamed free of charge on the LSUE Digital Network which can be found at www.lsuebengals.net or by downloading the app on your favorite iOS or android device as well as Roku, Fire Stick, or Apple TV.
